Artist: Spy – “Basket” – Street Art
Spy has been a part of Madrid’s street scene for many a year, having taken the path from graffiti to urban intervention. These days, the interventions are playful and subtle, teasing city dwellers into paying attention. Basketball and gardening are a couple of recurring themes, but Spy is no stranger to leaving pro-bike messages where car drivers can feel most frustrated, tying a bunch of balloons to a cow or putting “for sale” signs on churches. Lucky Madrid.
