Isabel Samaras – “Into The Woodz”
Isabel Samaras took some time off of preparing for her upcoming show, which opens this Saturday May 9th at The Shooting Gallery in San Francisco, to chat with Juxtapoz about her new works. In an exhibition that she dubs as “Woodland Fabulous”, Isabel pays homage to the girls of fairy tales who, rather than living happily-ever-after with Prince Charming, opt to stay in the forest and chill for awhile. Isabel’s forest: less ‘The Village’ and more eighties-influenced digs and urban animals kickin’ it—old school.
