Charlotte Ronson launches her JCPenney line
Timing is everything, especially in fashion. So it makes sense that Charlotte Ronson, the Upper West Side–bred, downtown-based fashion designer, would wait until these weary economic times to launch her collection with affordable retail giant JCPenney, which she did on Friday night in L.A. To celebrate, she called on her siblings Samantha Ronson, who DJed an intimate cocktail at the Chateau Marmont, before her brother Mark, who had flown in from London, took the stage with his band for a standing room only concert.
