Artist Sophie Henson

henson_lloyd_b.jpg
Sophie Henson is a London-based illustrator whose background in print and textile design can be seen in her current illustrations and drawings. Her great typographical work shows her use of layers and pattern, but some of her illustrations are lovely to feast on because of their simplicity, which, at the same time, is very detailed. The figurative work in her portfolio stands out, but the eye is drawn just as quickly to some of the more abstract pieces. See for yourself.
